New PR

The Davis Stampede was hella fun today. I'm content for doing the 10k in 53 minutes.

Chicago did not Bear down today, but I'm glad Peyton is not going to be a Dan Marino.

It rained for the first time this Fall 2006

I woke up and looked at the gray sky this morning. It had drizzeled, it's damp, and I forgot to put my car in the garage the night before. I had thought I was going to Sudwerks. That didn't happen. My one spanish class was chill today.... I went to the post office afterwards to take care of my passport. I'm really excited about possibly going to Argentina for study abroad this spring 2007. I just need the dean to approve my double major in exb and spanish! Plus, I need to get into the program, finish the applications, and get my passport!
Tonight I baked hotdogs tucked in crousssants. Thanks for the idea Erika! I also made it healthy by eating some asparagus. I just filled out the Davis Turkey Trot stuff. I'm going to run my second 10k (6.2 miles) in a month. I'm really excited about this too.
oh! tonight was so much fun at filah's event at Roma's. LeeJay and his sis are awesome... there were performances, poetry readings, etc.

I believed I rocked the mcat last august. Well, I better since I took it again. My summer has been devoted to that one exam, an exam that determines the rest of my life, haha. Since June, I have been going to my local library and studying a few hours every day. As you can imagine, that routine got boring quickly. If I wasn't studying, then I was at the local Y working out. That was my routine: eat, sleep, study, work out, repeat.
Then I treated myself after a summer of discipline. I flew out to the east, Washington DC to be exact for the following weekend. My frights to and from DC were horrible. Delays lead to changing flights and getting to my destinations late. At DC, I really had fun. It was muggy and hot, but I got to see downtown, Georgetown, and some of the sites and museums. I won't forget having to cook and do dishes right away after I arrived in DC, I turned guest to chef and housekeeper!
My all time favorite moment in DC was the "WOW" moment. I can't go into details, maybe you should ask me about it, but trust me, it was hella funny. Like laugh-so-hard-out-loud-people-started-staring funny. Like laughing-so-much-no-sounds-of-laughter-were-coming-out-of-my-mouth funny (J, y'know about this). My favorite museum was the aeronautical one because I really enjoyed seeing the nasa shuttles and stuff.
I had hella fun taking the metro/ subway in DC and NYC, NY was better. I heart NY :) During the few days in NY, I saw most of the sites: statue of liberty, staten island, times sq, fifth ave, the cathedral. I even got on the late show with david letterman. He's really funny. I was so enthusiastic that I sat in the third row in front! Perhaps you saw me on the show, it was a Aug 29. I even waited in line for 45 min at this one corner to get chicken and rice from this one stand that opened at 8pm. It's really good and worth it. Oh! and the pizza.... spinach and grilled chicken is my new favorite pizza.
I definitely enjoyed my trip to the east. It's a great way to reward my studying for the summer.
I currently got a membership to my local 24 hour fitness before I work out at my school gym. Tonight I'm going to dinner with family and friends then out to the city for my birthday. It's going to be fun!

Stacey left me the other day. She flew out to Europe. All this baggage is left at my Davis pad......
I've been hanging out at Davis..... well more like studying for my mcat exam this Saturday. My cousin's birthday was on Monday and we had sushi at this place at Sac; hella good and inexpensive place! I'm really happy that she invited me to her birthday dinner. Plus, I hung out with second cousins I haven't seen in years.
Today was my lil' sib's 21st birthday and we went to Mikuni's!! Soooooooo yummy sushi, my favorite place! The atmosphere is great: young crowd, hip/hop dance music, and hella good food. We enjoyed saki bombs and party platters. Also, a friend made chocolate cupcakes. Needless to say, I have been having fun while studying hard during the day. I'm ready to rock the mcat!
